Artist/Illustrator J.C. Johnson studied advertising and illustration
at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has
worked in both the publishing and advertising fields. A former
Art Director for Direct Marketing magazine, Johnson's 'New Yorker'
style cartoon creations have graced the pages of numerous publications
and been featured on the covers of several national trade magazines.
In addition to her cartoon style J.C. Johnson offers a variety
of other illustration styles both
humorous and serious. Many of J.C. Johnson's charcoal style portraits and sketches
of celebrities have appeared on WLIW/Channel 21, one of the tri-state
areas leading PBS TV stations.
By working in either color or B&W and fitting the style to
each individual assignment our design studio can create an eye
